MODERN GARDEN
When designing the garden, BURO Buiten looked at how the terraces could flow into each other. We created different atmospheres in the garden. It is an open, yet sheltered atmosphere. It is a modern garden, yet sleek garden in which a natural environment has been created.
We used unusual plant combinations in the planting plan. Lush combinations were deliberately chosen so that the feeling of being "in nature" is well experienced. Trees and planting have also been reused wherever possible. For example, a tree from the front yard is now in a pot in the backyard. It is growing better than ever!
JACUZZI AND OUTDOOR SHOWER
A custom-made Jacuzzi was installed in the garden. This was supplied by one of our preferred partners. All the technology surrounding the jacuzzi and outdoor shower has been nicely concealed so that no wiring or other unattractive features are visible. A number of practical elements have also been incorporated into the garden. For example, the patio tiles are grouted so that no weeds, ants or other critters will get between them. Because of this, we did have to use special structures for the trees so that the roots do not push up the tile.
THE WATERING
The watering for the plants is nicely concealed in the garden. All the technology in the garden is connected to a special meter box that is incorporated into the garden house. The technology is smart and can be controlled via an app. Another practical element in the garden is the soundproof fence. This is insulated which dampens noise from outside.
The photos of the garden were taken before this modern garden was fully completed. The garden has since been fitted with a luxury outdoor kitchen and some finishing touches have been added.
