It was a blank, rough and cleared terrain. Completely overgrown and overgrown, and even the house consisted of only a few remaining poles with a roof above them Then to have to feel how you are going to enjoy living there is an intense quest. And you begin that quest analytically. You start experiencing first. What do you feel and see when you walk around. Where is the sun. How big is the building really or how big is it going to be. How big is the garden?
How big is the building really or how big is it going to be. How big is the garden. What quickly becomes clear in this garden is the location and open environment that actually speaks for itself. Where we are trained in taking things out of sight with design, here we want to see the countryside and preserve the view as much as possible. But a garden had to be created in between. The first step was to determine where the spaces you want to give a place within the design should go. If there is no house yet, you will also have to look carefully at the architect's plans.
To bring the modern touch back into the garden design, the element of water was introduced. A pond has been placed in front of the house. Water is alive, it reflects, and because of its positioning and exceptional length, it also forms a beautiful visual axis into the countryside. Ponds and water features come in many different options. By making the pond flush with the lawn, the pond has a modern shape in keeping with the home.
A serene and diverse planting plan was chosen in this design. Borders have also been created around the trees. This enhances the forest-like effect of the existing trees and gives intimacy back to the vast meadows. Planting under the trees does come with some challenges, such as how can we continue to maintain the trees and also with planting you have to consider the roots of the trees.
Because the floor in the house and the terrace around the house are at floor-level and the window and door areas are practically barrier-free, you experience a very strong connection between inside and outside. If you then richly decorate the terraces, it really becomes an extension of your home, creating a true garden room. The Good Outdoors really comes alive when home and garden blend perfectly and you can continue to experience the environment wherever you are.
A design connected to a new home. Then you want a garden that is in complete harmony with it and acts as an extension of the house. For an experience and maximum living enjoyment. Think of optimal privacy, planters with mature fruit trees, water elements that reflect the sky and create a beautiful interplay of lines, stylishly decorated terraces between the greenery, flowering borders, including existing trees as a natural element in the design, exciting sightlines to the surroundings, parking in a natural ambiance ... We combine the quality of architecture and the power of nature in a personal garden design. Making it seem as if it has always been this way. This is what Buro Buiten strives for in its garden designs. We make it personal and nothing is too crazy. With our team, the sky is the limit....
